What we cannot help with
Conditions requiring a physical examination — such as suspected ectopic pregnancy, severe pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding needing examination, or cervical screening — need in-person care.
Pregnancy-related emergencies require immediate hospital assessment — call 999 or 112 if concerned.
Contraception in Ireland
Free contraception is available for certain age groups under the national scheme — eligibility and age ranges change; check the HSE and Citizens Information for current rules before your consultation.
The GP can advise on options and prescribe where clinically appropriate after assessment.
