Editorial policy
GPLine publishes health information to help patients in Ireland understand our services and common healthcare processes. This page explains how that content is created and reviewed.
Who writes our content
Service pages and patient guides are drafted by the GPLine clinical and content team. Clinical pages are reviewed by GPs registered with the Medical Council of Ireland before publication, where a named reviewer is shown on the page.
Sources
We cite authoritative Irish sources where possible, including the HSE, Citizens Information, gov.ie, and the Medical Council of Ireland.
Review cycle
Clinical service pages are reviewed at least every 12 months, or sooner when guidance changes. The "Last reviewed" date on each page records the most recent medical review.
Corrections
If you believe something on our site is inaccurate, contact support@gpline.ie and we will investigate promptly.
AI-assisted drafting
Some drafts may use AI tools for structure and research. All clinical pages are reviewed by a qualified GP before publication. We do not publish unreviewed generated medical content.
