What your cert usually includes
Your name, the dates you are unfit for work or study, the issue date, and the doctor’s name with Medical Council registration. Your diagnosis stays confidential.
What we will not do
We will not issue a certificate without assessing you, backdate dishonestly, or guarantee a cert at booking. Clinical judgement always comes first.

- Will my employer accept it?
- Certificates from IMC-registered GPs are widely accepted. Check your employer handbook for their exact rules.
- Is this the same as Illness Benefit paperwork?
- Not always. DSP / eCert forms are different — ask during your consultation if that is what you need.
